Where are we now and latest news.

Our Current Position

You can see our current position and weather here

Maupiti

We managed to enter the pass into Maupiti where we are spending one or two weeks.

We are currently in lockdown in Bora Bora

We are preparing Tintamarre for 5 months cruising in French Polynesia.  We are back on the boat after 7 months in the UK following the death of my father.

Papeete Marina

We have arrived in Tahiti and are now awaiting parts to repair our rigging, understaking many and various boat projects and catching up on the blog.

Vista Mar Marina

We are staying at Vista Mar Marina for 4 - 6 weeks for a quick trip back to the UK and final preparations for the Pacific.

We are in the UK from January 15th to February 4th.

Balboa Yacht Club

We arrived in the Pacific on the 28th of December.  Two days on a mooring ball at the "world-famous" Balboa Yacht Club before moving on to the Islas Perlas via Taboga on 30th Jan.  The yacht club is now in a state of disrepair, apart from the bar.

Shelter Bay Marina

We arrived in Shelter Bay Marina, Colon, Panama after a 10-day adventure, sailing from Guatemala direct to Panama but the long way around to avoid pirates.

We have booked a passage through the canal on December 27th, so Christmas will be in Shelter Bay.

We had a practice run on the canal as line handlers for our friends on Tourtorelle and Two Drifters.

RAM marina

We are currently hauled out at RAM marina having various upgrades and maintennance work done.   We hope to be leaving mid-November for Panama and the Pacific, probably via Cuba to enable a safe passage.

Here are some views of the marina and current projects.

To see where we have been over the last three years see our old blog.

We reached RAM marina up the Rio Dulce, it is not often you will find an ocean-going yacht surrounded by water lilies.

Once we are back in the water you will be able to follow us on the OCC fleet page

Hi there, my name is Taylor Gee and I'm a 26-year-old from California. I saw that you are registered for the Pacific Puddle Jump, and was wondering if you needed any extra crew. I'm looking for a boat heading westward from Panama or elsewhere in April. Let me know! My email address is taylorwgee@gmail.com

Best,
Taylor
